The Binghamton Mets continue their homestand tonight by hosting the Bowie Baysox at 6:35 at NYSEG Stadium (air at 6:20 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  Last night Binghamton dropped the rubber game of the series with New Hampshire 7-2.

The Fisher Cats jumped on starter Greg Peavey for four runs in the first inning and the B-Mets never recovered.  Binghamton committed four errors in the loss.

The Baysox are the Double-A affiliates of the Baltimore Orioles and are playing .500 baseball. They are 56-56 which puts them in third place in the Eastern League Western Division.  Binghamton is 64-46 heading into tonight's action.  The B-Mets are in second place in the Eastern Division and six games behind the first-place Portland Sea Dogs.

Matt Bowman makes the start for Binghamton tonight.  He is 6-6 with a 3.48 ERA.  Bowie counters with Matt Bischoff who is 2-4 with an ERA of 4.59.

The Baysox are making their first appearance of the season at NYSEG Stadium.  Binghamton sports a 2-1 slate against the Baysox this year.
