The Binghamton Mets begin an eight-game homestand tonight at 7:05 as they host the Erie SeaWolves at NYSEG Stadium.  Last night Binghamton was in New Britain, Connecticut where they were supposed to play a doubleheader.  However, rain forced postponement of the second game.  They did get the first game in and won it 6-4.  Kyle Johnson was the big gun with a pair of home runs.  The long ball was the key for the B-Mets as Dilson Herrera and Brian Burgamy also struck home runs.

Chase Huchingson go the win in relief...his first victory of the season.  That closed out Binghamton's road trip with a 5-2 slate and puts their record at 50-34.

Tonight rookie Gabriel Ynoa gets the start against Erie's Jeff Ferrell.  Binghamton enters tonight's game 5.5 games behind the Portland Sea Dogs in the Eastern Division of the Eastern League.  The Sea Dogs and B-Mets square off in a key series Monday through Thursday at NYSEG Stadium.  Tonight's game will be followed by a "Double Grand Finale" Fireworks Show at NYSEG Stadium.
