The Binghamton Mets begin a four-game series in Altoona tonight as they meet the Curve at 7 PM (air at 6:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  The B-Mets were rained-out in their scheduled home game versus Reading last night.  Because the Fightin' Phils will not return to play in Binghamton this season the game will be made-up as part of a doubleheader when the B-Mets travel to Reading August 15 - 17.  No date has been determined for the doubleheader.

Tyler Pill will get the start tonight for the B-Mets.  He is 5-5 and is coming off an impressive victory on June 19.  In that game he pitched eight scoreless innings in a 6-0 Binghamton win.  He also powered his way to victory by hitting a home run, a double and drove in four runs.  Pill has won four of his last five starts.

The B-Mets will see a lot of the road over the next couple of weeks.  They play 11 of 14 games on the road in this stretch.  Overall the Binghamton Mets have won 13 of their last 15 games.
