The Binghamton Mets are looking forward to getting back on the field at NYSEG Stadium when they host the New Britain Rock Cats in a 7:05 game tonight (air at 6:50 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  The B-Mets dropped an 8-5 decision to the Altoona Curve  in Altoona last night giving the Curve the rubber game of the three game series.  The loss was the tenth in the last eleven road games for Binghamton.

During the last homestand the B-Mets won 6 of 7 outings.  Binghamton will send right-hander Matt Bowman to the mound against another right-hander, Virgil Vasquez of the Rock Cats.  Relief pitcher T. J. Chism came off the disabled list and pitched one innning for Binghamton.  Matt Reynolds was on fire against the Curve going 10-16.  He upped his batting average to .371.
