The Binghamton Mets meet the Bowie Baysox in the final road game of the regular season tonight at 7:05 (airtime at 6:50 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  Last night the B-Mets notched 13 hits against the Baysox on the way to a 7-4 win.  The game was delayed for 1:58 by rain. Hamilton Bennett picked-up his first Double-A win in a relief stint.

Tonight, Erik Goeddel makes his 25th start on the mound for the B-Mets.  He is 9-6 on the season with a 4.07 ERA. For Bowie Jason Hammel makes the start.  He has no Double-A record.  Bowie is at .500 with a record of 68-68 while the B-Mets have set a franchise record for most wins in a single season with an 84-53 slate.

Following tonight’s contest the B-Mets have four more games to play in the regular season.  They return home to host the New Hampshire Fisher Cats tomorrow through Monday.  Prior to tomorrow night’s 7:05 game the Binghamton Baseball Shrine will welcome three new members.  Former Binghamton Triplet’s Broadcaster Pete Van Wieren and former Triplet players Tom Tresh and Willard Hershberger will be honored in Induction ceremonies before the game.
