Binghamton Mets Fans Looking Ahead to April

With below-zero wind chills and more snow in the forecast, baseball enthusiasts in Binghamton are keeping an eye on the calendar and counting the days until they can return to NYSEG Stadium to enjoy a game.

The Binghamton Mets will start their Eastern League title defense on the road in Akron on April 9. They'll host Harrisburg in their home opener on April 16.

A pregame ceremony is to be held before the home opener to celebrate the team's championship.

The B-Mets won their third Eastern League championship by defeating Richmond on September 12 in a three-game sweep of the series. It was the first time the team earned the title since 1994.
