The Binghamton Mets hope to muster more offense tonight when the meet the Akron RubberDucks in Akron at 6:35 (airtime at 6:20 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  Last night Akron pitching held the B-Mets to four hits and no runs as the RubberDucks posted a 4-0 victory.

The loss puts Binghamton's record at 12-9 while Akron moves to a 13-11 slate.  Tonight, right-hander Hansel Robles looks for his second win of the season as he gets the start for the B-Mets against another right-hander, Kyle Davies who is 2-1 this season.

In the last start for Robles against Portland he had control issues and walked seven batters in 4.2 innings of work. B-Mets infielder Matt Reynolds has now hit safely in 14 consecutive games.  He isbatting .389 which is the second highest batting average in the Eastern League.  The two teams wrap-up the three game series tomorrow morning with a 10:35 game with airtime at 10:20 on ESPN 1360 AM.
