The Binghamton Mets head to Erie to face the SeaWolves tonight at 7:05 (6:50 air on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  Binghamton plays three games in Erie before heading home to host Akron and New Britain in the final regular season homestand beginning Friday evening.

Yesterday, the B-Mets dropped a 1-0 decision to the Reading Fightin Phils to close out that series.  Binghamton took three out of four games in Reading this weekend.

The magic number for the B-Mets to officially clinch a playoff spot is four.  Binghamton enters tonight's action 1.5 games behind the first-place Portland Sea Dogs with one game in hand.  The B-Mets are 76-51 while the Sea Dogs are 78-50.

Greg Peavey gets the starting nod for the B-Mets tonight.  He is 9-3 with an ERA of 2.89 in Binghamton this season.  Jeff Ferrell is the scheduled Erie hurler tonight.  He is 8-8 with a 5.27 ERA.
