The Binghamton Mets and New Britain Rock Cats were rained out last night in New Britain so they are playing a doubleheader today.  The first game is underway on News Radio 1290 WNBF with Tim Heiman at the microphone.

Entering tonight's action the B-Mets are 6.5 games behind the front-running Portland Sea Dogs in the Eastern Division of the Eastern League.  Binghamton's record is 49-34 while the Rock Cats are 42-39.

Tyler Pill is making his 14th start of the season for the B-Mets.  In the second game the B-Mets will start Gabriel Ynoa.  Ynoa is making his first Double-A debut.  He is just up from Class A St. Lucie where he went 8-2 in 14 appearances..

Dustin Lawley continues to swing the hot back for Binghamton.  He has homered three times in the first two games of the series.  Overall, Lawley has hit 13 home runs including seven long flies in the month of June.

The B-Mets return home tomorrow night to begin an eight-game homestand as they face the Erie SeaWolves.  Tomorrow features a double grand finale fireworks show after the 7:05 game.
