Binghamton Men’s Basketball In Boston to Meet Terriers
The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team meets the Terriers from Boston University tonight at 7:30 on News Radio 1290 WNBF. Tonight's game is set for Case Gymnasium in Boston. The contest is in familiar territory for the Bearcats who faced the Terriers many times when Boston U was a member of America East. The Terriers are now members of the Patriot League.
Coming into tonight's game the Terriers are 1-4 while Binghamton stands at 1-6. In 25 previous meetings the Terriers have dominated play holding a 20-5 advantage. Last time the two teams met Boston University won 79-58. The Terriers have won the last eight consecutive games played against the Bearcats.
Cedric Hankerson leads the Terriers averaging 20.6 points per game. Binghamton is led by a pair of freshmen. Willie Rodriguez averages 11.4 points per game. Dusan Perovic is right behind him scoring at a 9.9 points per game clip.
Following tonight's game the Bearcats return home to host Penn Saturday at 2 PM. The Bearcats remain home to host Caldwell College next Monday at 7 PM.
