Binghamton Men Travel to Colgate to Face Raiders

The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team plays in Hamilton tonight at 7 PM as they face the Colgate Raiders at Cotterell Court (air at 6:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  Binghamton comes in with a record of 1-9 while the Raiders are 2-7.

This is the 12th meeting all-time between the two schools.  Colgate holds a wide edge with 9 wins and 2 losses.  Tuesday night the Raiders crushed Morrisville State 88-52 while Binghamton's last outing on Monday night resulted in  a loss against Caldwell.

The Raiders are led by Damon Sherman-Newsome who is scoring at a 15.2 points per game clip.  Austin Tillotson is right behind him averaging 14 points per game.

For the Bearcats the America East Rookie of the Week, Dusan Perovic is the leading scorer with 12.5 points per game. Another freshman, Willie Rodriguez is right behind averaging 9.9 points per outing.
