The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team have been hoping the quality play they displayed in their win over the Vermont Catamounts carries over to the battle at Stony Brook February 21 .

Binghamton won its fourth conference game of the season 57-55 over second place Vermont at the Events Center February 18.  Stony Brook was 9-4 and fighting for as high as second place in America East.

Stony Brook is led by NBA prospect Jameel Warney who is averaging 15.7 points per game and 11.3 rebounds per contest.  He leads the nation with 18 double-doubles.  Carson Puriefoy is second in Stony Brook scoring with 14 points per game.
