A town of Binghamton man who had been sought by Pennsylvania State Police on a probation violation has been taken into custody.

Authorities say 29-year-old Jeffrey Warner was arrested as a fugitive. He was taken into custody by the Broome County Sheriff's Office warrant division and the United States Marshals Regional Fugitive Task Force.

Warner was found at a residence on Pecha Road in the town of Binghamton after Pennsylvania investigators advised local police he may have been in Broome County.

Johnson City police provided assistance in making the arrest.

Warner was arraigned in Johnson City village court and sent to Broome County Jail without bail.
