The man wounded in a shooting in Afton January 30th is now charged with felony burglary.

New York State Police say 44 year old Kevin Roof of Binghamton, who was treated for a gunshot wound to the upper leg, is accused of participating in the burglary on Algerine Street.

Earlier, 34 year old James Fletcher of Greene was charged with felony burglary in the incident.

State Police responded to the location at 11:10 a.m. after Chenango County Emergency Services received a call reporting shots fired.

A day later, Investigators determined a burglary had occurred and arrested Fletcher.  He was sent to the Chenango County Jail on $50,000 bail.

Roof was arrested after being released from the hospital and also sent to the Chenango County Jail on $50,000 bail.
