Binghamton Man Pleads Guilty to Drug Sale and Weapon Possession Charges
Sentencing is set for February 7 for a Binghamton man after he pleaded guilty to felony attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a weapon.
27 year old Charles Robinson was arrested by New York State Police in June following a two-month-long investigation.
Police say they seized crack cocaine and a loaded .38 caliber semi-automatic handgun at Robinson's Saratoga Heights apartment.
Robinson was accused of illegally possessing a gun as a previously convicted felon and selling crack cocaine in May and June of last year.
Robinson posted $20,000 bail and is free until sentencing.
He could be handed a sentence of four years in New York State Prison.
