A Binghamton man is under indictment for murder, manslaughter, assault and endangering the welfare of a child in connection with the death of a toddler in 2013.

Prosecutors say 31 year old Brenden Barrett is accused of acting recklessly and causing the death of 17 month old Camryn Davies of Harpursville December 9, 2013.

The incident occurred on Bevier Street.

Barrett is charged with one count each of murder and manslaughter, two counts of felony assault and one count of endangering the welfare of a child.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges in Broome County Court yesterday.

If convicted, Barrett could face up to 25 years to life in prison.
