Binghamton Man Indicted on Prostitution Counts

A Binghamton man is under indictment on 27 counts in connection with prosecutors claim was a sex trafficking operation.  2

4 year old Antonio Ballard was arrested last year and entered not guilty pleas on all counts Febrary 5.

Ballard is accused of forcing a 15 year old to engage in prostitution last year and having sex with a 15 year old girl several times between September and November.

He’s charged with 13 counts of promoting prostitution, six counts of rape and two counts of sex trafficking.  Those counts are all felonies. He’s also charged with three misdemeanor counts of obstruction of breathing and three violation counts of harassment.

In addition to Ballard, New York State Police had earlier arrested 24 year old Larhonda James of Johnson City on promoting prostitution counts and 33 year old Alphonso Dennis for sex trafficking. Those incidents apparently involved a different girl but resulted in leading police to Ballard.
