Binghamton Man Indicted in Pearn Street Shooting
37-year-old Dushon Goldwire of Binghamton is now under indictment for attempted murder, assault, five counts of criminal possession of a weapon and tampering with evidence in connection with a July shooting.
Binghamton Police were called about shots fired on Pearne Street at around 11 a.m. July 30th.
Authorities accuse Goldwire of firing several shots from a .40 handgun at 26 year old Michael Perez following a confrontation before speeding away.
While prosecutors claim Goldwire intentionally intended to kill or seriously injure Perez, the Binghamton man was not hurt.
