A Binghamton man will be sentenced in December for having heroin in his possession in April.

The Broome County District Attorney’s Office say 38 year old Rasheen Sanders was found guilty on two felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and felony tampering with evidence.

New York State Police say they found him with 20 grams of heroin with a street value of up to $1,2000 and $744 cash during a traffic stop on Main Street in the City of Binghamton April 26.

Prosecutors are recommending the maximum sentence of up to 19 years in New York State Prison.
