A Binghamton man is facing weapon charges after members of the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force chased him as he tried to flee a home on Oak Street.

Officers were executing a search warrant September 7 when 35 year old Amin Rahid is said to have tried to escape through a back door.

He was apprehended as he tried to leave the house and found to be in possession of a loaded .38 caliber Smith and Wesson revolver.

Rahid is charged with two felony counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
