A traffic stop on Binghamton's West Side lead to a felony driving while intoxicated arrest.

Authorities say 37-year-old Johnnie Barnett of Binghamton was pulled over by a state trooper on Murray Street. Police say the vehicle stop was for speeding.

Investigators say it was determined Barnett had been driving while intoxicated. They say he also was in possession of some marijuana.

Police say Barnett was charged with felony DWI because he had two previous DWI convictions over the last decade.

Barnett was ordered to appear in Binghamton city court on February 16.
