Police seized heroin, cocaine and guns when they executed a search warrant in downtown Binghamton.

Authorities say 44-year-old James McLeod of Jay Street faces several drug and weapon counts after his arrest on Wednesday.

Investigators say two handguns were confiscated. One of the guns had been reported stolen.

Police also found more than an ounce of heroin and more than an ounce of cocaine. They also seized oxycodone pills, marijuana and drug packaging material. About $1,000 in suspected drug sale proceeds also was confiscated.

McLeod was charged with 15 felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. He also was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a weapon, two counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia and one count of criminal possession of stolen property.

McLeod was arraigned in Binghamton City Court and sent to Broome County Jail.
