A heroin dealer in Binghamton will spend up to 24 years in prison now that a Broome County Judge has found him guilty of two felony counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance.

35 year old Willis Bickham Junior opted for a bench trial, rather than face a jury and was convicted June 13 by Judge Joseph Cawley.

Bickham was arrested by City of Binghamton Police July 18th following investigations into heroin dealing in the area.

When he is sentenced in September, Bickham could get up to 12 years in prison for each of the two counts.

Broome County District Attorney Stephen Cornwell Junior issued a statement saying, “If you sell heroin in Broome County, you’re going to prison.”
