A Binghamton man has been arrested in connection with a shooting outside a North Side apartment complex.

Authorities say 22-year-old Taqwon Griffin was charged with second-degree attempted murder.

Investigators say they believe Griffin repeatedly shot 19-year-old Clifford Harris around 7 p.m. on November 13.

Harris was wounded several times in the leg in a parking lot at Country and Town Apartments at 100 Roberts Street.

Police say Griffin was taken into custody about 9 p.m. Friday on Broome Street on the city's South Side.

Griffin was arraigned in Binghamton City Court and then sent to Broome County Jail.

Detectives asked anyone with information about the case to call 607.772.7080.
