Binghamton Man Charged For Heroin Possession

A Binghamton man is facing drug charges after members of the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force say they found him in possession of dozens of bags of heroin.

59-year-old Israel Sosa Jr. is accused of having 50 bags of heroin and over 200 dollars in cash after authorities conducted a traffic stop in Binghamton.  Sosa is charged with felony Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.  He was sent to the Broome County Jail following his arraignment.
