New York State Police say a Binghamton man wanted on a federal warrant for narcotics conspiracy is in custody.

Authorities say 70 year old Theodore Roosevelt Johnson, who was living in an apartment on Grand Boulevard, was arrested February 4 by members of the United States Marshals Regional Fugitive Task Force, New York State Police and the Binghamton Police Department Warrant Squad.

Officials say Johnson’s vehicle was seized and he was turned over to the Drug Enforcement Agency for arraignment in Federal Court in New York City.

Investigators say Johnson was one of 24 people arrested in a drug trafficking corruption case in connection with distribution of oxycodone in the Bronx.
