A Binghamton man is accused of stealing construction material from several work sites in the City of Binghamton and Town of Conklin.

28 year old Kole Rose was stopped by Broome County Sheriff’s officials on West Service Road near Chenango Street just after 12 a.m. March 11 for failing to yield right of way at a stop sign.

While talking to Rose, the deputy saw a large quantity of construction material stacked in the back of the Dodge Durango.

Investigators say the materials had been removed from construction sites earlier in the evening.

Rose is charged with possession of stolen property and is to appear in Town of Fenton Court at a later date.
