New York State Police say a Binghamton man had a prior conviction for drunk driving within the last ten years when he was arrested at 3:58 a.m. June 11 at Loves Truck Stop on Industrial Drive in the Town of Kirkwood.

Troopers say they got a report of an intoxicated man stumbling inside the truck stop.

Authorities say they found 28 year old Shane Jeevananda after he had returned to his car and turned the engine on.

Troopers say they determined Jeevananda had been drunk when he drove to the truck stop and parked.

His blood alcohol content was measured at .15%.

He is charged with felony driving while intoxicated.
