Binghamton police say they've arrested a man suspected of cashing checks with forged signatures.

Investigators say 37-year-old Michael Harrison of Binghamton was charged with two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.

Authorities say Harrison is accused of cashing checks on two separate dates with forged signatures.

Police say Harrison also had been sought for petit larceny on a warrant that had been issued by Johnson City village court.
