The City of Binghamton is looking for a volunteer to fill an opening on the Human Rights Commission.

Letters expressing interest and relevant experience can be submitted to the City Clerk’s Office at 38 Hawley Street by 4:45 p.m. February 17.

The Commission is made up of seven voting members and two non-voting members aimed at condemning discrimination in all forms and educating the public about bias based on age, race, color, religion, national origin, disability, height, weight, sexual orientation, criminal record or even marital status.

The City is looking for someone who can commit to attending one meeting a month.
