A home energy efficiency event will be held in Binghamton on Tuesday.

The program has been set up by the Cornell Cooperative Extension's Energy Leadership Program.

Organizer Adam Flint says it will feature demonstrations by local contractors along with information about insulation and heating system upgrades.

Speaking on WNBF Radio's Binghamton Now program, Flint said people will be able to learn about free energy assessments and the availability of low-cost financing for insulation and other improvement projects.

The home energy efficiency night event will be held at the Parish of Saints John and Andrew Church Hall at 1236 Vestal Avenue Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
