Three new members were inducted into the Binghamton Hockey Hall of Fame on Friday night prior to the Binghamton Senators home game against the Hershey Bears.  Scott Allegrino, Bob Moppert and Rob Zamuner all were honored with induction into the Hall.  The trio of honorees brings the total number of members to 43.

Allegrino began his professional hockey career working with the Binghamton Whalers.  A 1990 graduate of Seton Catholic Central, he is in his ninth season as Head Equipment Manager for the Ottawa Senators. Accepting on his behalf was his daughter Emily.

Bob Moppert was a popular and beloved personality in the community as well as the hockey world.  Moppert was the organist for the Broome Dusters as well as the Binghamton Mets.  Moppert also chaired the All-Star organizing committee that brought the 2008 American Hockey League All-Star Game to Binghamton. He passed away in 2011.  Accepting on his behalf was his wife Carol and granddaughter Madison.

Rob Zamuner had two standout seasons as a Binghamton Ranger.  He spent the 1990-91 and 1991-92 seasons in Binghamton.  Over those two seasons Zamuner played in 141 games, scored 44 goals and accumulated 155 points.  He went on to play 13 seasons in the National Hockey League with New York, Tampa Bay, Ottawa and Boston.  In the NHL he scored 139 goals and notched 311 points in 798 games.  Zamuner currently works for the National Hockey League Players Association as a Divisional Player Representative.  He was not able to attend the ceremony.  Accepting on his behalf was his Athletic Trainer in Binghamton...fellow Hall of Famer Jon Smith.
