Binghamton High School Prepares for Thanksgiving Dinner

Donations are currently being taken for the annual Thanksgiving Day Community Dinner at Binghamton High School.

The event has grown over the years from a small gathering at the Volunteers of America to hundreds being served by students and other volunteers at the Binghamton High School.

The dinner this year will be from 11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. Thursday, November 28.

The dinner is funded through community donations and student fundraising.

Last year, the program replaced home delivery and take-home meals with an expanded dining room and continuous shuttle bus service.

Anyone wishing to donate to the dinner can send a check, payable to BHS Thanksgiving Dinner, to BHS Thanksgiving Dinner, 31 Main St., Binghamton, NY 13905, Attention Jean Klein, BHS Honor Society.
