A public meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. June 1 to talk about plans to extend the Two Rivers Greenway pedestrian and bicycle path on Route 434 in the City of Binghamton.

The New York State Department of Transportation says the project will extend the Two Rivers Greenway, upgrading the existing infrastructure to a multi-use trail on the South Side of Binghamton at the South Washington Street Bridge.

Construction is expected to start this fall and be completed next year.

The public meeting is being held in the cafeteria of the MacArthur Elementary School.
