People affected by the recent schedule revisions implemented by BC Transit will be able to discuss their concerns at a Binghamton forum.

Significant changes in bus service were put into place about three months ago.

Rider advocates at the time said the adjustments were implemented too quickly. They said BC Transit users were not provided with adequate notice of the move to reduce service at some times of day.

A forum organized by local organizations including Citizen Action of New York will provide an opportunity for people to describe what the bus service changes have meant for them.

The event is to be held Thursday (June 9) at 6 p.m. at American Legion Post 80 at 76 Main Street on Binghamton's West Side.

People who may need a ride to the forum or those who have questions may call 607.723.0110.
