Binghamton Farmers’ Market Seeks Vendors

The Downtown Binghamton Farmers’ Market is looking for vendors for the season.

A meeting for possible vendors is scheduled for 1 p.m. April 28 at Cornell Cooperative Extension on Upper Front Street in the Town of Dickinson.

Chair of the Farmers’ Market Committee, Eric Denk says there has been a lot of interest from returning vendors and inquiries from some new ones.

Over the past nine years, the number of vendors and visitors to the Downtown Farmers’ Market have increased and the products offered have diversified.

Organizers plan to set dates for the 2014 season and distribute rate sheets, market rules and vendor applications at the April 28^th meeting.
