A holiday tradition continues with the thirtieth anniversary presentation of Handel's Messiah by the Binghamton Downtown Singers.

Organization president Michael Randolph says for the first time, the performances will be held in the Helen Foley Theater at Binghamton High School.

The performances will be Friday, December 21 and Saturday, December 22 at 8 p.m.

Speaking on WNBF Radio's Binghamton Now program, Randolph said William Lawson will be conducting.

This year's performances will be the first by the Downtown Singers since the September death of Alan Crabb, the organization's co-founder and artistic director.

Advance tickets may be obtained by calling 607.429.9978. Tickets also will be available at the door.

General admission tickets are $10 and reserved tickets are $15.
