Two Binghamton residents are facing drug and weapon charges following the search of a Linden Street home about mid-day on January 18.

The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force say they arrested 36-year-old Brandy Griffin and 37-year-old Frederick Felton on felony drug possession and other counts.

Authorities say they confiscated 4.75 ounces of cocaine, about 34 grams of marijuana, several controlled substance prescription pills, a defaced .38 Special revolver, a .22 caliber semi-automatic handgun, handgun ammunition, drug packaging materials, digital scales and $7,737 in suspected drug sale proceeds.

Felton is charged with two felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, four felony counts of criminal possession of a weapon, three misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and three misdemeanor counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Griffin is charged with three felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, felony criminal sale of a controlled substance, four felony counts of criminal possession of a weapon, and three misdemeanor counts each of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally using drug paraphernalia.
