Binghamton Consulting Jobs to be Cut

A Dallas-based company that operates in Downtown Binghamton is letting 171 local workers go in a downsizing move.

SourceCorp has filed a notification of job cuts with New York State Labor Department officials. 

Workers at the location on Wall Street were informed that a contract loss will result in the jobs being eliminated by May.

Company officials have said there are no plans to close the Binghamton office.

SourceCorp describes itself as providing business processing and outsourcing solutions.

The consulting service recently merged with HOV Services, which is based in India.
