After an unusually chilly month, Twin Tiers residents can expect a break from the brutally cold conditions over the next few days.

The National Weather Service at Binghamton is forecasting three consecutive days with high temperatures above freezing.

The outlook through next Wednesday calls for daytime highs of at least 30 and overnight lows of at least 15.

The private forecasting service AccuWeather in State College is offering some hope for winter-weary folks. Its long-range forecast for February suggests we may not have to endure any subzero temperatures during the month.
