Ithaca High School gave the Binghamton Patriots a good battle last night but in the end the Patriots were too fast and too strong for the Little Red as Binghamton rolled to its fourth consecutive win in Section 4 Football by a final score of  34- 6.

Quaterback Andre Yevchinecz started Binghamton's scoring attack with a 70-yard touchdown run with 8:41 left in the first quarter.  He added his second touchdown with a 43-yard carry to put the Pats up by two TD's.

Brian Alexander sparkled on both sides of the ball doing the bulk of ball-carrying duties for Binghamton.  He scored on a 24-yard carry in the second quarter and then returned an interception 95 yards for six points in the third quarter.

With the win Binghamton clinches the Section 4 Division 1 regular season championship and stands 4-1 and faces Union-Endicott next Saturday night (7 PM on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  Ithaca drops to 1-4.
