Binghamton City Court Judge Seeking Another Term

William Pelella is running for a second term as a Binghamton City Court judge.

Pelella has served as a judge for the past decade. Prior to becoming judge, he'd served as a local attorney. He also was a member of Binghamton city council.

Pelella oversees the Binghamton drug treatment court, which is designed to assist offenders with substance abuse problems avoid getting involved with the criminal justice system again.

Pelella is running as a Democrat. No other candidates have announced an intention to seek the post in the November election.
