Two Binghamton brothers are accused of selling heroin and hitting a police vehicle in an attempt to elude authorities.

31 year old Ernest Cureton Junior and 26 year old Eric Cureton are being held in the Broome County Jail without bail.

Authorities say the men are accused of selling six knotted wraps of crack cocaine and 20 bags of heroin to another person and had additional crack cocaine, heroin and marijuana in their possession when they were apprehended on Fairview Avenue in Johnson City April 21.

Members of the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force say Eric Cureton allegedly was driving the vehicle and intentionally rammed the squad car in an attempt to flee.

Officials confiscated four grams of crack cocaine as well as powdered heroin and marijuana from the vehicle.

Ernest is charged with two felony counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance while his younger brother is charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance, reckless endangerment and unlawful possession of marijuana.
