A crew of artists has been working to beautify one section of Binghamton's Court Street bridge.

Emily Jablon says several people have been busy applying mosaic tiles at the east end of the span over the Chenango River.

The tiles are provided by Susan Jablon Mosaic, which now is located on Alice Street in Binghamton. The business previously had been in Vestal.

Jablon says a similar rainbow mosaic was installed about four years ago near the Court Street bridge. That design is viewable to people using the riverwalk.

Jablon told WNBF News that almost everyone who passes by the crew working on the new mosaic has expressed support for the artwork.
