The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team plays at Vermont tonight at 7 PM (6:50 PM on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  The Bearcats bring a 4-10 slate in America East competition into tonight's game while the Catamounts are 5-9 in conference action.

Binghamton is coming off a 55-42 road victory over New Hampshire last Saturday while Vermont's last outing was a 68-51 loss to the conference-leading Albany Great Danes.  In the BU win Jasbriell Swain notched 11 points and 12 rebounds while Mallory Lawes fired home 11 points.

Vermont holds a big edge in the series with a mark of 18-7.  In an earlier meeting this season the Catamounts took a 61-56 decision at the Events Center on January 15.  In that game Binghamton's Sherae Swinson  scored 25 points.

The Bearcats will close the regular season with a home game on Saturday vs UMBC at 2 PM.  Tonight's game has playoff seeding implications.  The Bearcats are 4-10 while the Catamounts are 5-9 in the conference and tied for 7th place..  The AE tournament will be held next Friday - Sunday in Albany.
