The Binghamton Bearcats defeated New Hampshire last night in Durham 72-71 in overtime.  Jordan Reed's free throw with 1.5 seconds left in the extra session gave BU the road victory.  The win gives Binghamton a sweep of the two game series versus the Wildcats this season and improves Binghamton's all-time mark against New Hampshire to 17-10.

Freshman guard Marlon Beck was fouled attempting a three-point shot with just 4.5 seconds left in regulation.  He made all three free throws to tie the game at 62-62 and send the contest into the five minute overtime session.

Beck ended the night with 17 points to lead Binghamton offensively.  Reed finished with 16 points for the Bearcats who earned their sixth overall win of the season doubling last year's total for wins.

The Bearcats are idle until next Wednesday night when they host the long-time rivals from Albany.  Game time is set for 7 PM at the Events Center.  It is one of only two remaining home games for Binghamton this season.
