Binghamton Bearcats Volleyball Topped By New Hampshire

The Binghamton Bearcats volleyball team was unable to catch the New Hampshire Wildcats today at West Gym.  The Wildcats defeated Binghamton in four sets to open up a two game advantage in the America East standings. BU stays in second -place with a conference slate of 6-3.  New Hampshire moves to 8-1.

Down two sets to one the Bearcats held a 16-12 lead in the fourth set before the Wildcats rallied to close with a 25-22 victory and capture the win.  Binghamton played its last home match of the regular season.  The Bearcats close the America East schedule with trips to Stony Brook, Hartford and Baltimore.

The Bearcats honored three seniors prior to today's contest.  Playing their last home match were seniors: Amanda Dettmann, Kristin Hovie and Alexa Zbytniewski.
