Binghamton Bearcats Men’s Soccer Team Travels To Syracuse Tuesday

The Binghamton University Bearcats men's soccer team travels to Syracuse to meet the Orange tomorrow night at 7.  The game will be televised live by Time Warner Sports Channel and ESPN3.  BU carries a record of 2-5-2 into the game while Syracuse is 6-3-0.

The last outing for Binghamton was Friday night when St. Bonaventure posted a 1-0 win at the Bearcats Sports Complex.  The Orange dropped a 2-0 outing to Virginia on Saturday in Syracuse.

The Bearcats and the Orange have met four previous times and have each captured a pair of wins.  Last year Syracuse topped BU at the Sports Complex 1-0.  Two seasons ago Binghamton downed Syracuse 2-1 at the 'Cuse.

Junior forward Steven Celeste leads the Bearcats with 2 goals while sophomore goalkeeper Stefano Frantellizzi has three shutouts to his credit.  The Bearcats travel to face America East foe Vermont in Burlington on Saturday.  Head Bearcats' Coach Paul Marco previews the Syracuse match on WNBF First News  at 8:10 tomorrow morning.
