The Binghamton Bearcats men's soccer team sent a season-high crowd of 1,735 home happy with a 1-0 victory over the New Hampshire Wildcats yesterday at the Bearcats Sports Complex.  Senior back Derrick Ladeairous scored the match's only goal in the 84th minute of play to give BU the win.  The Bearcats are now 2-0 in America East competition.

Ladeairous has scored a goal and an assist in the past two games.  For BU it is the second time in the past three seasons that they have opened with a 2-0-0 conference record.

The crowd was bolstered by Family Weekend at the University and by area Subway Restaurants on "Subway Pack the House Day".  The Bearcats next action will be Wednesday evening when they travel to UMBC in another America East battle.  BU head coach Paul Marco will preview that match-up Wednesday morning at 8:10 AM with Roger Neel on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
