The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team has not slowed down since their loss to Hartford in the America East quarterfinals in Albany.  Returning players have been working on getting stronger, getting quicker and improving their overall basketball skills.

Now a new crop of freshmen have arrived.  They are getting acclimated to a higher level of competition, bigger opponents and a quicker game.  Binghamton is holding summer basketball camp in the West Gym and the players and coaches are helping teach and coach over 100 youngsters who have signed up for instruction.

Along with their time helping the camp attendees the players have been spending as much time as permitted practicing and scrimmaging and getting to know their teammates strengths and skills.  The Bearcats open their 2014-15 season by hosting Mansfield State at the Events Center on Saturday, November 1 at 2:00 PM in an exhibition game.
